Live Virtual Classes (LVC) are instructor led online classes lasting around 90 minutes. You use your own PC and get to practise the materials during the class. Classes are limited to 4 delegates ensuring that everyone gets the attention they need.

Getting Started
(Level 1)
If you are new to Excel and need to understand the basics, this is the class for you. You will cover the basic principles including creating a worksheet, entering data, selecting cells, zoom, number formats, copying and moving data and many shortcuts. By the end of the class you will have the tools you need to be confident working on an Excel spreadsheet.

Formatting Data
(Level 1)
Being able to format data well in Excel makes a spreadsheet easier to read, to understand and more presentable. You will not only practice how to format cells manually, you will learn how to apply conditional formatting to highlight data for given parameters. You will also use styles and themes to enhance a spreadsheet and create your own so you can reuse them when needed.

Charts (Graphs)
(Level 1)
Charts allow you to show in a graphical form which can be easier to present and digest. You will create and edit charts, apply formatting, and learn how to add trend lines and manually set the axes. By the end of this class you will be able to create professional looking graphs that allow you to understand and explain your data more fully.

Text and dates
(Level 2)
The text and date functions in Excel allow you to manipulate data to extract text from a given text string, combine text strings and manipulate dates. You will also learn how to control what can be entered into cells. By the end of this class you will be able to control text and dates to ensure you can get the information you need.

Analysing large data sets
(Level 2)
If you have large amounts of data to organise or manipulate then understanding how to apply outlining, how to apply advanced filters and how to extract information using the LOOKUP functions will mean that you will be able to make the most of the information available in the data.

Problem Solving
(Level 3)
You want to maximise an output but there are many variables that affect it. Learn how to manage this and other scenarios to solve problems. Or you may need to compare and present different options in the same scenario. These can be solved using Excels powerful problem solving functions.
